After Care


Waxing before/after care
Come prepared:
  • Stop shaving 2-3 weeks before your appointment
  • On waxing day, don't use lotion on the area
  • Hair should be at least 0.5cm long
  • For bikini waxing, trim hair first
  • If you are PMs'ing, reschedule your wax as your pain threshold will be a lot lower.
 
  • Redness/prickly heat rash is NORMAL after a wax
  • Avoid fragrant lotions for 12hrs after a wax
  • Gently exfoliate/buff area to prevent ingrown hairs
 
Rebooking:
  • First timers/occasional waxers: rebook within 2 -3 weeks
  • Regular waxers: rebook within 3-6 weeks

Chemical Peel after care
  • Avoid the sun
  • Avoid Retin A for a couple of weeks
  • Avoid Skin care products which contain alcohol and or acidity
  • Avoid exfoliation / rubbing for a couple of weeks
  • Do not pick or scratch skin
  • Cleanse gently and pat dry
  • Keep skin hydrated with a rich, good quality organic moisturiser
Micro-Needling after care
  • Avoid retina A and alpha/beta hydroxy acids for 12 hours PRIOR to treatments and 3 days post treatment
  • Avoid the sun
  • Avoid skin care products which contain alcohol
  • Avoid using make up for 24 hours post treatment
  • Use collagen stimulating peptides/hyaluronic acid for hydrating skin
  • Cleanse gently and pat dry
  • Keep skin hydrated with a rich, good quality organic moisturiser
